This is how I work [Beyond's internal system part 2]

This is Kai Fujisawa from public relations.

It's already been nine months since I joined Beyond

previously wrote
an article introducing our company's internal systems, this time I'd like to introduce some things I haven't written about yet!

After our office relocation in February of this year, we have gradually become acquainted with the local restaurants, and we would like
to introduce a new system that was added last month.

Luncheon

At the daily lunch meeting, there is a "one-minute speech" in which employees take turns speaking on the topic of the day

Last month we decided to revise the theme, and we conducted a survey within the company to see what kind of theme would be good. We received a variety of opinions, so please take a look

And here is the modified theme:

New↓

With the goal of getting to know each other better, there are now more topics that allow members to get to know each other better, such as "talking about hobbies" and "things that made them happy or fun."

The topic of "What work are you currently working on?" is a great one for me, as I have almost no idea what kind of work people on other islands do..

However, I feel a little nervous knowing that I have to be constantly ready to announce what work I'm currently working on

In-house study session

The monthly internal study group involves employees giving 30-minute solo talks on "useful topics."

The topics are free, so they range from topics useful for work to hobbies

Last month, the two presenters gave talks on very different topics: "About Nico Nico Douga" and "Achieving IA C with Terraform."

It's a two-for-one deal: it's educational for the listeners and it gives the presenters practice speaking in public

When it's my turn, I'd like to talk about "Hugtto PreCure," which I'm currently obsessed with

Leader Lunch Program

In addition to an internal networking event to deepen interactions between members, we also decided to go out to lunch

The system is that every month, the leaders of each team go out to eat one-on-one with the other members

This gives you time to communicate with people in different departments that you don't usually have much opportunity to talk to

I went to lunch for the first time today. I won the lottery with Ohara, the sub-leader of the technical sales department

I ate my fill at a soba restaurant near my office

Although we are in the same department, I was able to talk about problems that I couldn't discuss at work, so I feel that it is important to always be in communication with those around me

summary

What did you think?

Implementing these internal systems does not necessarily mean that the company will improve, but rather it is important to have the awareness to make things better

I don't really know what makes a good company, but since we spend most of our lives working, I want to enjoy my work

When you have worries, invite someone to lunch and let them out
