Hello!
I'm Inoue, the Persian cat at Beyond Shikoku office.
On October 25th (Friday), the first "Inter-Industry Networking Event" was held at Manabeya MINDE, and I, Persian Cat Inoue, also participated!
The reason I decided to participate was simple!
I was attracted by the name "Inter-Industry Networking Event." (laughs)
I'm not only interested in people who are active in different professions than my own, but
I'm also interested in each person's values and opinions, so I felt it would be a good opportunity to hear about those things.
"Billage" creates connections that change the future
The lecture was given by Mr. Yoshiki Matsui, Managing Director of MJE Co., Ltd. , with the title "The Role of Young People in Shaping the Future of the Region: Youth Connections Will Change the Future!" He spoke about new ways of working and providing an environment conducive to entrepreneurship. The co-working space and rental office " billage " not only supports entrepreneurs and startups, but also holds more than 100 events and seminars annually, connects companies and investors with young entrepreneurs under the age of 25 in the Kansai region, and organizes pitch contests, "Murabito Night" events and club activities that members using "billage" can participate in to support the growth of young entrepreneurs . It seems that strengthening connections among members in this way leads to a higher level of fulfillment in both work and private life, resulting in high satisfaction.
Creating opportunities through workshops
However, simply giving opinions on a given topic can make it difficult to speak up, or you might only hear the opinions of certain people. At the inter-industry networking event, a workshop was held where participants expressed themselves and presented their ideas using "LEGO," just like at the "billage" networking event. It is said that finding common ground with others fosters a sense of belonging and strengthens community bonds. In the workshop, participants expressed themselves, their future dreams, their favorite things, and events of the day using LEGO and presented their ideas. Incidentally, I expressed "myself," portraying myself as someone who may appear "flashy" or "cheerful" at first glance, but who actually spends a lot of time alone and is shy around strangers. The 20 minutes allotted flew by, and everyone reverted to their childlike selves, engrossed in sticking LEGOs together.

Finally, a networking event and business card exchange
There were about 20 participants, including entrepreneurs, IT professionals, restaurant owners, printing companies, bankers, and civil servants, so it truly felt like an "inter-industry networking event." We talked a lot over drinks , about what kind of work everyone does and how they came to participate in "inter-industry networking events." Besides work, there were also people who were organizing events to liven up Miyoshi City, which was very inspiring. Since most of the participants were in their 20s and 30s, it was fun talking to people of the same generation. I heard that there will be a second event, and I definitely want to participate!
Growing every day, moving forward every day.
I must update myself every single day!!!
Thank you for reading to the end.
