Why doesn't "Nomushin Shoten" go bankrupt even during the coronavirus pandemic?

Nomushin Shoten an in-house food store established by Yuki Nomura (nicknamed Nomushin) , a server-side engineer in Beyond's system development department .

In this way, Beyond has an interesting culture where not only does the company provide employee benefits, but employees themselves are able to provide employee benefits to the company.

 

As soon as I joined Beyond as a mid-career recruit, I was inspired by Nomushin Shoten

I thought about it and thought, "I'd like to create a company employee benefit that only I can provide."

This led to the launch of the photo studio "Goto Photo Studio .

What is the in-house photo studio, Goto Photo Studio?

Goto Photo Studio is an in-house photography studio established by me, who was previously a photographer.

At Goto Photo Studio, all employees can take profile photos

Furthermore, , including not only photographing internal events also taking photographs required for press release materials

Since this is an employee benefit, of course we do not charge any additional fees for photography

Our main business at Beyond building, operating and maintaining servers , so we advertise that we can "leave all your server needs to us."

Goto Photo Studio is truly "leave everything to us when it comes to photography" .

 

the name "Goto Photo Studio" exquisitely uncool , but surprisingly, we haven't been able to come up with a more catchy name, so we still operate under that name.

So, I would like to introduce my career as a photographer below.

Since around September 2016, he has gained a wide range of experience, including photographing wedding parties, music events, school events, and architecture

Since May 2017, while working as a director at a design company, he has also learned food photography and product photography (photography of general products) under the direction of the company's president, a food photographer, and has been in charge of many on-site shoots

Since 2018, he has gained a wide range of experience, including fashion photography, salon photography, and artist promotional photography

and I think that being a photographer who can casually take photos within a company is quite beneficial

Goto Photo Studio Case Study

The in-house photo studio, Goto Photo Studio, was started suddenly without anyone in the company asking for it, but it has been introduced in several cases

Case 1: Taking a profile photo of the CEO

It is widely used for external presentations and social media

Case 2: Taking a profile photo of a public relations and recruitment officer

I was in charge of photographing the public relations and recruitment staff, who could be said to be the "face" of Beyond

Case 3: Taking profile photos for new members

We have also taken profile photos for our 2020 new graduates and employees who joined us mid-career in 2020, as shown below

For many people, there aren't many opportunities to have professional photography taken

I believe that the greatest benefit is that our employees can experience photography as something close to them at any time

We also believe that having many employees with high-quality profile pictures will contribute to branding will also create individuals within the company to be more active beyond the boundaries of the company

Due to the effects of COVID-19, we are currently refraining from active photography activities, but in the future we hope to make this a great employee benefit that can be used by more employees and those related to employees
