④Interesting and surprising things I felt after joining the company

・Daily general lunch meeting, the person on duty shares the day's story

I was surprised that everyone gathered for lunch every day. What's more, we have an interesting system where the person on duty announces the topic of the day to everyone!
Isn't it rare that all the members meet face to face every day?

・Greetings are lively

Of course they greet each other in the morning and on their way home, but they also actively greet each other during breaks and when passing each other in open spaces.

・Complete in-house events

I was imagining a big event like a year-end party, but they now hold some kind of event about once a month, and there is active interaction between members.

Interview: Mr. Futa

①What kind of work did you do in your previous job?

I have no experience in other industries, but am interested in becoming an infrastructure engineer.

② How I met Beyond and joined the company, etc.

I found out about Beyond through a recruitment website, and after reading the blog

③Current duties

Server operation and maintenance work

④Interesting and surprising things I felt after joining the company

・Despite having a dirty job, there is a beauty to it.

Being an infrastructure engineer is a behind-the-scenes job, and I didn't have a very glamorous image, but I feel like there's a charm to it even though it's a dull job. Is it because the environment and the people are so bright?

・Strong sense of team

There is a team structure, and there is an image of working as a team rather than working individually.

・An atmosphere where everyone strives to grow together

We are actively catching up on new technologies and information, and sharing it with everyone is BEYOND!
There is an atmosphere of trying to grow not just yourself, but the company as a whole and improve your technical capabilities.

★Bonus

・It is unusual to always have a meet connection with the office even when working remotely
・Active communication to the outside world

I have an interest in the IT industry, such as creating websites as a hobby, and I came to Beyond because I wanted to acquire more expertise.

② How I met Beyond and joined the company, etc.

I learned about Beyond on a recruitment site and was interested in the fact that they have offices in Yokohama, Shikoku, Tokushima, and Canada, in addition to Osaka.

③Current duties

Server operation and maintenance work

④Interesting and surprising things I felt after joining the company

・I don't touch paper during my daily work.

When I was a civil servant, I often did everything on paper, so when I joined Beyond, I was surprised to find that there was almost no paper at all. Is that normal for IT companies? and

- Has a sense of speed at work

Because I was able to complete even small tasks quickly, my awareness of deadlines changed.
My work productivity has increased because I am always aware of deadlines instead of working idly.

・There are many opportunities to output

There are many opportunities for output as there are times when I speak in public, such as on duty at daily lunch meetings, presentations at training sessions, and presentations at in-house study sessions. By giving a presentation, you can check your own understanding and further improve your technical skills.

★Bonus

・Many of them have high technical skills and can easily answer any questions you ask! (cool!)

・I had the impression that Japanese companies had strict hierarchical relationships, but everyone is friendly.

Ever since I was in Taiwan, I had the impression that Japan had a strict hierarchy, but contrary to my impression, the atmosphere here is nice and it's easy to work.

・There is a bar and a store run by members of the company.

At first I was surprised that there was a bar, but I was even more surprised that they actually had alcoholic drinks.
The store sells drinks, ramen, sweets, etc., but I was surprised to see that company members also do the purchasing.

★Bonus

・At drinking parties in Taiwan, the main thing is to eat a lot of rice and drink alcohol, but in Japan it feels like drinking parties are mainly about alcohol! (Is it a cultural difference between Taiwan and Japan?)

There are many young people who are active and have a lot of energy when they try to do something.
I often come up with ideas and try new things.

・There is a club activity system and in-house events.

We have a club activity system within the company, and there are many in-house events where members can interact with each other.
The Organizational Culture Committee's activities include regular events and active exchange within the company.

・“I want to try it” actually leads to “Why not try it?”

Sales of ion implantation equipment

② How I met Beyond and joined the company, etc.

I found Beyond on a job site and became interested. There are many companies that accept Chinese people living in Japan, but there are not many companies that accept Chinese people living in China, so I was happy. This is what the interviewer intuitively felt during the interview! I thought.

③Current duties

Customer support and new development

④Interesting and surprising things I felt after joining the company

・Free clothing and hairstyle

I thought it was normal for working people to wear suits and formal attire, so I was surprised at the freedom I felt at BEYOND, thinking, ``Is this a company?'' I feel like the leaders have free hairstyles, so I think it's easy for the members to do it as well.

・Good sharpness

Although there is a free system and atmosphere, there is also a sense of balance because when you do something, you do it well.

・Incorporates opinions

I have an environment where my opinions are heard and taken into account.
In addition, although there are companies that hear about club activity systems created through members' opinions and listen to their opinions, there are very few that actually implement them.
