At BEYOND, we work in plain clothes, so the only time we wear a suit is basically for informal job offers and joining ceremonies.

As is the case every year, it's a rare sight to see Beyond members in suits

I usually work in casual clothes, so having the opportunity to wear a suit twice a year feels like a good opportunity to get back to basics, and I personally think it's a good opportunity

Namba Midosuji Hall

→It's the same venue as last year. It's about a 5-minute walk from the Beyond Osaka office.

The number of attendees was significantly higher than last year, so even though it was the same venue, it felt a little different

Greetings from the representative director

A greeting from our CEO, Mr. Haraoka

He called each of the people who had been offered a job offer by name and talked about how he wanted them to make the most of their time before joining the company.

I was touched by Haraoka's unchanging feelings towards the accepted applicants

 

Award of informal offer certificate

Once all the accepted applicants' names were called, they came forward and were handed their job offer certificates by Mr. Haraoka

As someone who had prepared the offer letter, I was happy that it was accepted

(I was also happy when a 2023 graduate who received a job offer letter last year told me, "I still have it.")

As with the awarding of job offer certificates, each accepted candidate was asked to come forward and give a speech

Each person gave a unique and personal greeting, which was fun to listen to!

Closing remarks from Director Morita

Mr. Morita is usually at the Beyond Canada office, but he was back in Japan during the job offer ceremony, so we were able to speak to him directly

Like Mr. Haraoka, Mr. Morita also expressed his desire to make the most of the remaining period before joining the company.

The accepted applicants and employees were divided into groups and did group work

This year's theme was a " consensus game ." It was prepared by members of the 2022 and 2023 graduating classes. Thank you very much!

Social gathering

After the informal ceremony, we had a social gathering.

The new recruits and employees interacted with each other over delicious food and drinks

After the social gathering, it seems that the accepted applicants went to a second party by themselves, and I thought it was great that they had become such good friends!
