[2025 New Graduates] We bring you a look at the Beyond job offer ceremony!

Hello, this
is Miyoshi from Beyond's recruitment team.

Before we know it, it's autumn.
Just a short while ago, there was still a faint scent of summer in the air, but I'm happy that it's now the perfect season for long sleeves.

Well, my first blog post will be about the job offer ceremony that I held recently on Tuesday, October 1st

In this article, we hope to inform students who are interested in Beyond, people currently job-hunting, and companies who are curious about what other companies' employment ceremonies are like about the type of employment ceremony and social gathering Beyond holds, as well as what the event is like and what the content is like

How many Beyond students have been accepted for the 2025 graduate class?

There were 9 students graduating in 2025!

Last year, we had 15 new hires with a male-to-female ratio of 11:4, whereas this year we have 9 new hires with a male-to-female ratio of 5:4.
Although the number has decreased, the proportion of female members at Beyond is also increasing.

I'm looking forward to working together next year

What did you wear to Beyond's job offer ceremony?

Everyone will be wearing a suit

Since we usually wear casual clothes to work, seeing the Beyond members in formal attire was a refreshing change.
The new hires also looked fresh in their suits, and it was clear they were well-prepared for their roles as working professionals.

I wore a jacket for the first time in a while, which I think helped me to take my role as MC more seriously.
Opportunities to wear a suit are usually limited to things like job offer ceremonies and company induction ceremonies, so I hope this can be a good opportunity to return to basics.

The venue where the job offer ceremony was held

Namba Midosuji Hall

→The venue will be the same as last year. It's about a 5-minute walk from the Beyond Osaka office

It seems that we have used this facility every year (this was the first time for me), and thanks to them we were able to hold the job offer ceremony without any problems this year as well, so we are grateful. This year, the number of participants was limited, so there was plenty of space for the number of people

Next, let me show you the schedule for Beyond's job offer ceremony.
It was a substantial 2.5 hours, including group work! (See schedule)

18:00-20:00 Social gathering

① Opening remarks

The author served as moderator

I was nervous about speaking in front of a large group of people. It was my first time hosting an event, so my legs were shaking (;^ω^)

Even though I had prepared and practiced thoroughly, I still felt my body heat up when I stood in front of people.
I think I was even more nervous than the other interns. (Sweat)

② Greetings from the CEO

A message from our CEO, Haraoka

We called out the names of each accepted candidate and sent them a message hoping they would make the most of their time before joining the company

When I was creating the slides for the job offer ceremony, I asked three questions (Q: What is your aesthetic sense when working? Q: If Beyond were the name of a dish? Q: Recent events and hobbies), and I also discussed the contents of those questions

③Receive a job offer certificate

Once all the accepted applicants' names were called, they stepped forward and were handed their job offer certificates by Haraoka

I was the one who prepared the job offer certificates, and it was a joy to see the accepted applicants receive them

④Greetings from successful applicants

As with the awarding of job offer certificates, each accepted candidate was asked to come forward and introduce themselves and share their future aspirations

Some people loved games, some shared stories about their hometowns, and some shared their special skills. Each person's unique personality and humor shone through in their wonderful greetings. Everyone was so funny!

⑤ Closing remarks

Closing remarks from Director Morita

I sent a message via Zoom from our Canadian office

Like Haraoka, I had asked Morita some questions in advance, and while touching on the answers, I expressed my hope that he would make the most of the time he had left before joining the company

⑥Group work

After the job offer ceremony, we took a break and then split into four groups of prospective employees and current employees for two workshops.
The aim was to ease any tension and allow the prospective employees and Beyond members to interact through games, helping them get to know each other! Knowing who the people are makes it easier to imagine what it will be like to work here.

This year"Self-Introduction Game" and "Bakery Game"we played games called

the "Self-Introduction Game," participants take turns talking about themselves according to a given topic.
the "Bakery Game," participants pretend to be bakers and try to "build a successful bakery."

By the way, each team decides on the type of bread they will sell, and they are asked to think about how to develop that bread, how to market it, where to open the shop, etc. The team that receives votes from the judges as the most attractive bakery wins! (One group said they would open a shop near the recently opened Grand Green in Umeda...!)

(↑ Thinking about an attractive bakery)

And this year's prize is rice. It's practical, isn't it? I'll definitely eat it

The group work was handled by members from the 2023 and 2024 graduating classes.
We are extremely grateful for their cooperation and for holding numerous meetings and preparing despite their busy schedules.

And thank you to all the accepted candidates who came up with so many ideas m(__)m

⑦Photography

At the end, we took a group photo

Beyond's social gathering

There was a social gathering after the job offer ceremony, so I'd like to introduce that as well

The successful applicants and Beyond members interacted with each other while enjoying delicious food and drinks in a stylish and pleasant atmosphere

We had the prospective employees rotate through the tables approximately every 30 minutes!
Everyone actively engaged in conversation, so I think they were able to get to know each other better.

The crowd seemed to be having such a good time that I had to try my best to speak loudly into the microphone so that everyone could just barely hear me. ^^)

The abovethe 2024 Beyond Co., Ltd. job offer ceremony.

I'm sure each of you has a lot to deal with before you join the company, but I hope you can have a great spring at Beyond

Everyone at Beyond is looking forward to welcoming all of the 2025 graduates!
