Hello.
This is Inu from the Systems Solutions Department.

What is the Organizational Culture Committee?
The Organizational Culture Committee is a committee created to improve the organization called Beyond. It plans events with a focus on creating positive working relationships and provides opportunities for members to communicate with each other. Incidentally, the Organizational Culture Committee is abbreviated as "Soshibun" within the company, and is currently in its seventh term.

The interesting point this term is that it's the first time in Soshibun's history that it's comprised of members from multiple locations.
Until now, it consisted only of members from Osaka and Yokohama, but this term, members have been selected from both the Yokohama and Shikoku offices.
Our slogan for the 8th term is"Revitalizing the organization by transcending the boundaries between locations .
Were the barriers between locations actually overcome...?
Let's check together while assigning points to each location.
Event Details
December Christmas Event

Inter-base points ★★★★☆
The first memorable event after the formation of the 8th generation of Soshibuna Christmas eventwas
For this event, Osaka and Yokohama were connected in real time via Zoom, and everyone ate cake and pizza together while exchanging gifts between the two locations.
Regarding the gift exchange, we struggled with how to overcome the distance between bases. In the end, we decided to have all members draw lots, and exchange gifts with people with the same number tag. If they were matched with someone based in a different location, we would have a business trip person deliver the gift
As it was the first time, it took a long time to cut the cake and we had a lot of trouble recording the number tags, so it was an event with many things to reflect on, but now it is a fond memory
It was unfortunate that there were no participants from Shikoku, so the base points will be 4 stars
January Multi-Cloud Karuta & New Year's Calligraphy Event

Inter-base points ★★★★★
Having overcome various shortcomings, our second eventa multi-cloud card game and calligraphy eventwas
What is Multi-Cloud Karuta?
Multi-Cloud Karuta is a game developed by Beyond, our company, that arranges various multi-cloud services in a karuta (Japanese card game) style, allowing you to enjoy the cloud in a fun, game-like way!
Specifically, we have selected approximately 30 services each from the three major cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, and OCI, and created a karuta-style game using them.

The Karuta tournamentwas held at three locations: Osaka, Yokohama, and Shikoku.
Similar to the Christmas event, Zoom connections were made between each location in real time, and teams were formed with members from different locations to compete for the most Karuta cards collected.
This was the first time that members from Shikoku participated in the event, and ☆OkaRin☆ acted as the game master and read out the haiku

The New Year's calligraphy eventwas held at our Osaka, Yokohama, and Shikoku locations. Participants
in a temporary calligraphy space set up at each locationa single kanji character representing the year, and their works were then displayed in the open spaces at each location.
We also scanned the works and posted them on our company's event page so that they could be viewed across different locations
It was an event that was overflowing with the individuality of the members from each base, so we're giving it 5 stars
February Beyond Thanksgiving Festival

Inter-base points ★★★★★
February marks the end of the year for our company, Beyond (our year ends in February and begins in March).
With the idea of expressing our gratitude to all those who have supported us throughout the year, the Beyond Grand Thanksgiving Festivalwe held
The Beyond Grand Thanksgiving Festival was a long-term event where we set up a Google Form to allow people to select someone they wanted to thank and send an anonymous message. The
many thank-you messages we received were nicely designed using Canva, laminated, placed in envelopes, and delivered to each member's locker.
This may have been an extremely rare event, as it was held at all locations since the formation of Soshibun's 8th generation.
We were able to deliver messages of gratitude not only to Osaka, Yokohama, and Shikoku, but also across the ocean to Canada and China. (We would like to thank those who traveled for their cooperation.)
I believe this was a good opportunity for communication between members from different bases who don't usually have much contact with each other, so I'm giving it 5 stars
March: Game Tournament x Alcohol Consumption Party

Inter-base points ★☆☆☆☆
Our March eventgaming tournament combined with a drinking partywas a
The Beyond Osaka office has a bar counter, and we had some leftover alcohol, so we planned a fun get-together where we'd bring our Nintendo Switches, play games, drink alcohol, eat snacks, and have a great time!
For gaming, there was one Switch device on each of the three tables, and it was an interesting space where you could play a different game at each table! (Depending on the table, it was different: Power Pro, Smash Bros., Mario Kart, etc.)
We also prepared a separate intro quiz game, and everyone participated!
We gathered a wide range of songs, from popular hits to older classics, so it was a lot of fun!
It was a fun event, but it was only held in Osaka, so I'll give it 1 star (´;ω;`)
April: Cherry blossom viewing

Inter-base points ★★★☆☆
In April, when the cherry blossoms bloom, viewing eventwe were finally able to hold the
This event is actually an annual tradition, but for the past few years it has been postponed due to the effects of the coronavirus or unfavorable weather.
Given the above circumstances, failure was not an option, so we made thorough preparations, checking the cherry blossom blooming period and weather forecast in advance, adjusting shifts, reserving and picking up pizza, hors d'oeuvres, and alcohol, and reserving a spot in the park on the day
On the day, we enjoyed a fun event, eating delicious food, talking and drinking while watching the cherry blossoms at night on a blue tarp
In addition, Yokohama members who had come to Osaka for the company entrance ceremony on April 1st and new graduate members who were participating in the event for the first time also joined the event, making it a huge success
May Werewolf Game Event

Inter-base points ★★★★☆
an onlineWerewolf gamewe organized
The event overview is that participants will use a browser game called Werewolf Online and connect to meet from their preferred location, such as their office or home, to play the Werewolf game!
In addition, since this event was held online after work, we were able to use the online drinking party subsidy system to purchase alcohol and snacks up to 1,500 yen per person! (I bought a banh mi via Uber ☆彡)
With participants from Osaka and Yokohama, it was a heated Werewolf game that transcended bases!
June Bowling Tournament

Inter-base points ★★★☆☆
June is the month for Beyond's annualbowling tournament.
Just like last year, we held the tournament at Round1's bowling venue.
This year, the event was held simultaneously at our Yokohama base, and although we were physically distanced, we were able to enjoy bowling at the same time on the same day
Under a carefully considered power balance, teams of three competed for the highest total score.
The top three teams with the highest scores also received special prizes from the Soshibun members.
I hope to get a better score next year.
Since it was only held in Osaka and Yokohama, I'll give it a rating of 3 stars.
July Beyond Sports Day & Tanabata Event

Inter-base points ★★★★☆
In July, we held two events
Beyond Sports Day
was successfully held after overcoming the fierce competition in the lottery to use the Osaka Municipal Naniwa Sports Center!
Based on the results of a survey, the events included basketball, volleyball, and futsal. 🏀🏐⚽
Although the event was only held in Osaka, it was a great way to get some exercise, as I am seriously lacking in exercise due to my daily desk work!!
Tanabata Festival Event ☆彡
For this event, each location prepared strips of paper for writing wishes.
We also set up a Google Form, so we were able to get participation from Canada as well, making it an event that transcended the boundaries between locations.
Your various wishes are published on our internal website called Beyond Portal!
The Tanabata event had participants from Osaka, Yokohama, Shikoku, and even across the ocean from Canada, so we're giving it 4 stars!
August Beyond Photo Contest

Inter-base points ★★★★★
Since many people take summer vacations in August, summerwith the theme ofa photo contestwe held
Participants submitted their summer photos, and the rankings were determined by voting!
The winning entries from the contest are as follows:
🎇Top 3 entries by total votes🎇
🥇1st place: Summer vegetables
🥈2nd place: Tamaya~
🥉3rd place: Sparklers
for submitting so many wonderful summery photos,
and for the participation from various locations! 5 stars!!!
September: Beyond Workation Day

Inter-base points ★★☆☆☆
a major event – the first of its kind in Soshibun's history – the
utilizing our workation system ☆Beyond Workation Day☆ we held
What exactly is a workation?
It's a way of spending time in a tourist destination or resort area, using telework to combine work and vacation.
Beyond also has this wonderful system, but it
hasn't been utilized much, so we decided to hold an event using the workation system.
For this workation,
we rented the Osaka Prefectural Youth Nature Center, worked in the morning, and used our paid leave in the afternoon to go hiking and have a campfire! It
was a great event where we could work with colleagues we don't usually interact with during regular work hours, and communicate while being healed by nature.
Actually, we had planned to hold the event in Yokohama as well, but due to various circumstances, it was cancelled.
Therefore, this time it will only be held in Osaka, so the cross-venue points will be ★2...
October BBQ

Inter-base points ★★★★☆
in October a BBQ we held
Like our cherry blossom viewing and bowling tournaments, the BBQ has become an annual event and is an important event that marks the end of the year for our club.
This year's BBQ was held at Jungle Namba, which is very close to our office.
It's an outdoor venue, and we were allowed to use BBQ grills in several tents, with seven people in each.
The designated grill master at each tent worked hard to cook the meat, and we all enjoyed the delicious food.
We also held a BBQ at our Yokohama base that same week, where a small but friendly group enjoyed meat and drinks
Because the event was held in both Osaka and Yokohama, and because members from Yokohama and Shikoku came to Osaka on business trips, we will give it a 4-star rating between bases☆彡
Other Initiatives
Office Tour

"inter-office communication" As a company that valuesan office tour pageto create
Also, since I was on a business trip to Canada this year, we also conducted an office tour in Canada
Unfortunately, these pages are not open to the public, but they are very high quality introduction pages for each of our locations, so we hope that many people will take a look at them someday
Outdoor cleaning

This initiative was limited to our Osaka office, butoutdoor cleaningwe conducted
I would be very happy if I could contribute even a little to improving the environment around the office
